Eligibility

  • Age of superbike from the year of make which are 5 years & below, odometer mileage reading shall not exceed 100,000km.

Warranty Period

  • 1 year period or up to 20,000km ( whichever shall first occur ) .

Claims Limit

There is a limit of RM 12,000 per claim and RM 50,000 in total for all Japanese models.
There is a limit of RM 15,000 per claim and RM 50,000 in total for all continental models.

Cancellation

This program has no refundable value and is not transferable.

Cooling Period

There is a 7 day cooling-off period from the date of inception of warranty. Claims can only be made after this period.

What is covered?

During the period of cover, only the Mechanical and Electrical Components relating to the following items are covered.
  • Engine
  • Gearbox / Transmission
  • Braking System
  • Fuel Pump
  • Fuel Injectors
  • ECU
  • Starter
  • Stator

What is not covered?

  • Body Panels, Paint and Interior Trim
  • Keys and remotes
  • Seat belts
  • Petrol Tanks
  • Glass of Any Description
  • Tyres
  • Batteries
  • Hoses of Any Description
  • Radiator and Cooling Coil
  • Exhaust System
  • Wiring
  • Casings and Minor Oil Leaks
  • Worn or Deteriorated Seals
  • Entertainment System - whether fitted by the manufacturer or not
  • Navigation System - whether fitted by the manufacturer or not
  • Failure of vehicle where the odometer kilometers have been altered or changed, so that the vehicle kilometers cannot be ascertained.
  • Any incidental and consequential damage such as telephone calls, towing, hotel charges, loss of time, commercial loss.
  • Any items not listed above which are wear & tear items / parts in nature and rubber materials are not covered in this warranty program.
  • Experimental Equipment
  • Security System - whether fitted by the manufacturer or not
  • Suspension System
  • Rubber mountings and bushings.
  • Clutch System
  • Brake Facings
  • Vacuum Wap
  • Superbikes used for hire and reward
  • Wear and Tear in accordance with vehicle age and mileage
  • Normal service and maintenance items
  • Engine tuning and the such
  • Defects or damage in existence prior to the commencement of the policy
  • Damage caused by misuse such as overloading, racing, modifications
  • Damage caused by the failure of any item not covered by this warranty
  • Conditions such as noise, vibration, oil seepage or water entry
  • The replacement of normal service and maintenance items such as lubricants and fluids, filters, spark plugs, drive belts, brake pads and shoes, lamp bulbs, fuses and relays, driers and valves, wiper blades, timing belts and chains, thermostats

Service Maintenance Requirement

The SUPERBIKE must be serviced every 3,000 km / 6 months whichever comes first at any of our authorised service centers listed at the back of the booklet to maintain the validity of the warranty within 500 km either side of service mileage or 7 days either side of due date.
* For Harley Davidson models, the service maintenance requirement is at 5,000 km / 6 months, whichever comes first

What should I do if my superbike breaks down?

  • To get warranty service, you must send your superbike to any of the authorized service and repair centers listed at the booklet. In the event of a possible claim, the owner must inform one of the authorized service and repair centers within 14 days. 
  • If the vehicle shows signs of imminent failure, DO NOT continue to use it. This may aggravate the problem and cause greater damage for which we will not be liable.

Warranty Conditions

Claims under this warranty will only be accepted:
  1. Vehicle must be serviced and/or maintained by our authorized workshops
  2. The service record booklet must be signed and stamped by the authorized service and repair center authenticating the service has been carried out.
  3. Repairs made under warranty must be performed at authorized service and repair centers.
  4. Warranty repairs will be made entirely at the discretion of the warranty administrator who reserves the right to either repair/ recondition damaged components or to replace damaged components with used/ reconditioned components.
  5. No repairs may be carried out until the warranty administrator provides a claim recommendation.
  6. No claims will be accepted for damage caused by:
    • Neglect
    • Corrosion
    • Any foreign matter getting into or onto a part
    • Lack of servicing
    • Overheating or freezing
    • Abuse
    • Damage to parts not covered under this warranty
    • Correct oil / fluid levels not maintained
  7. No claims will be accepted for damage caused by fire, war, sonic booms, or nuclear radiation.
  8. If you have not kept the conditions of this warranty, your claim will be rejected and your warranty will be canceled.
  9. No claims will be accepted for any consequential loss to parts not covered by this policy, where consequential loss is caused by a covered part.
  10. Non-disclosure or Misrepresentation - this policy is voidable if you or anyone acting for you fails to disclose or misrepresents any material fact.
